Science Fiction Double Feature: Carbon And Tokens

While, as The Economist pointed out, making carbon markets work better is more of a political challenge than an economic one, it does seem to me that the use of the new technologies of tokenisation and defi might well offer an innovative (and practical) way forward. Anyone for a Carbon Standard?
